The CEO of BlackRock, the world's largest asset management firm, recently noted in his annual letter to fellow chief executives of the world's largest companies that his firm would start putting environmental sustainability at the center of its investment decisions and strategies. Could this have a trickle-down effect on how companies, both domestic and global, do business? Or how other investment firms manage their funds?
