Valid question! And with all of the rain we've been getting these last few weeks in Southern California, it's a timely question. Ok, yes - "all of the rain" may be a bit of a stretch but it's a decent amount of precipitation for this typically dry region.


One might assume that if you don't see the bright brilliant sun and its powerful rays shining down that not much is happening with your panels, but that's not exactly the case. Here's a quick and easy explanation from the Solar Energy Industries Association of how your solar panels are still producing energy on those overcast, cloudy, gloomy days.
